2nd Year Apprentice
$45,000-$50,000/yr + Performance
Position Summary: Motivated, detail-oriented 2nd Year Apprentice Electrician with a strong passion for the electrical trade and a commitment to excellent workmanship. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on electrical experience in residential construction and a minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial construction. This role supports journeymen and project leads on residential and commercial jobsites, performs quality installations, follows plans and codes, and helps maintain a safe, orderly work environment.
Key Objectives:
- Complete accurate, code-compliant installations of wiring, devices, fixtures, and panels under supervision.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to layout and execute work correctly.
- Properly pull, route and strip wiring neatly, without damage and following Electrical Code.
- Maintain organized work areas, tool accountability, and accurate material/equipment reporting to supervisors.
- Meet productivity targets set by supervisors while minimizing rework and punch-list items.
- Apply and extend Residential and Commercial Electrical skills to eventually be able to perform all relevant tasks independently.

General Requirements:
– Able to lift 50lbs.
– Kelowna based and willing to work across the Okanagan.
– Ability to work outdoors in varying Weather Conditions.
– Class 5 Drivers License and a reliable Vehicle to drive to Job-Sites.
– Basic Hand and Power Tools (Drill & Driver)
